SHIP NAVIGATION INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT SYSTEM FOR REPORTING DIGITALIZED NAVIGATION INFORMATION TO NAVIGATION OFFICER BY USING VOICE

PURPOSE: A ship navigation information announcement system for reporting digitalized navigation information to a navigation officer by using voice is provided to output necessary navigation information as voice by integrating the digitalized navigation information and searching automatically the integrated navigation information. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system(10) include a GPS, a radar, an ECDIS, a display, an indicator, and a measurer in order to form position data of ship and monitor peripheral states. A ship navigation information integration system(20) is formed with an integrated navigation information display unit, a navigation information processing unit, and a voice input/output processing unit. The integrated navigation information display unit is connected to the navigation unit through a network in order to obtain real-time navigation information. The navigation information processing unit transmits a report including the navigation information. The voice input/output processing unit is connected to a voice input/output unit in order to convert a voice signal to a text and output the necessary navigation information to a speaker. The voice input/output unit(30) includes a microphone, a sound card, and a speaker in order to convert the report to the voice signal and output the voice signal to the speaker.
