PURPOSE: A tilt steering system of a vehicle is provided to adjust tilt angle with a simple structure, to decrease the number of parts without mounting a separate plate, and to easily secure a space. CONSTITUTION: A tilt steering system of a vehicle is composed of a supporting bracket(300) for connecting and installing upper and lower steering columns(100,200) covering a steering shaft; a fixed gear unit(400) mounted at the lateral side of an end of the lower steering column and arranged with saw teeth in an annular form; a movable gear unit(500) hinge-combined at the side of the upper steering column to move axially and formed with saw teeth engaged with the fixed gear unit at the other side; a lever(600) joined on the outside of the supporting bracket to move about a central shaft(601) and composed of an operating unit(610) formed at one end to pass through an operating hole(310) disposed at the supporting bracket and an intermittent unit(620) formed at the other end to intermit the movable gear unit; and an elastic body(700) switching the positions of the movable gear unit if intermittence of the lever is released.
