PURPOSE: A target detecting method of a multifunctional radar for detecting accurately a target is provided to detect accurately a position of the target by calculating accurately an azimuth and an altitude of the target. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of domains related to distance and speed for one or more signals are formed. A target is calculated by processing an azimuth and an altitude for a first domain of the domains as a bundle of same spots(210-230). A new target is determined by processing azimuths and altitudes for domains adjacent to the first domain as a bundle of same spots if the calculated target is within a predetermined offset range for a prior target(240-270).
