摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing a photocatalytic titanium dioxide solution, which is able to significantly decrease environmental contamination, by eliminating all washing steps that generate wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) mixing 100ml of a titanium alkoxide solution with 200ml of an acidic aqueous solution having a molar concentration of 0.001 to 10; (b) mixing the solution of the step (a) with 200ml of an basic aqueous solution having a molar concentration of 0.001 to 10; (c) filtering the solution obtained from the step (b) to obtain titanium dioxide particles; (d) heating the titanium dioxide particles at a temperature of 100-200 deg.C for 10-18 hours to remove organic materials therefrom; (e) after adding 10-20ml of distilled water to 1 gram of titanium dioxide particles obtained from the step (d), ball-milling it for 18-24 hours; and (f) adding 400-500ml of distilled water to the titanium dioxide solution obtained from the step (e).
