AIR CONDITIONER WITH SMALL SUB-FAN UNIT HAVING GOOD VENTILATION EFFICIENCY AND LOW OPERATION NOISE WHILE HAVING AIR SUPPLY FUNCTION AND EXHAUST FUNCTION

PURPOSE: An air conditioner with a small sub-fan unit having good ventilation efficiency and low operation noise while having an air supply function and an exhaust function is provided to send cold air far away in a room and suppress an increase of hot wind diffused in heating operation. CONSTITUTION: An indoor heat exchanger and a main fan for controlling air are arranged inside an indoor unit which is long in a horizontal direction. A sub-fan unit(15) is installed to supply outdoor air into a room, and to exhaust indoor air to the outside. The sub-fan unit has a sub-fan(19) supplying and exhausting air in the same rotary direction. Dampers(29) switch a ventilation path of the sub-fan and a communication state to an indoor sub-ventilation port of the ventilation path and an outdoor sub-ventilation port to form wind paths(22,24) for air supply and exhaust.
