METHOD FOR MANAGING REGISTERED WEB SITES ON SEARCH ENGINE OFFERING WEB SITE INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method for managing registered web sites on a search engine offering web site information is provided to give no inconvenience to a search engine user by automatically detecting spam sites and deteriorated sites generating multiple popup windows with an algorithm. CONSTITUTION: The web site information is recorded to a database tool(302). An HTML(HyperText Markup Language) file forming a web page of the registered web site is extracted. A function generating the popup window is detected by parsing the HTML file(304). A counter value is increased depending on a number of the popup windows generated by the detected function(305). It is judged that the counter number is over a selected value(308). In case that the counter value is over the selected value, a specified process is performed to the registered web site(309). In the case that the web site is moved to other web site, the function generating the popup window, or moving to other web site and generating the new popup window is defined as the specified function.
