PURPOSE: A system for processing loading in a switching center and a method therefor are provided to obtain optimized values of parameters for processing loading and reflect the optimized values to the loading processing, thereby minimizing load generating in loading and improving the call processing performance and securing the stability. CONSTITUTION: An SMP(System Maintenance Processor)(40) obtains parameters optimized for a switching center and applies the obtained parameters in real time for performing loading processing. A plurality of MP(Main Processor)s(50) receive an optimization start report from the SMP(40) for performing a client function for optimizing parameters for the SMP(40). The SMP(40) includes an SLH(System Loading Handler)(41) examining optimization of the parameters and adjusting parameter values by reading the optimized values of the parameters, a memory(43) recording a parameter range and optimized values, and upper limit of load, and a POS(Parameter Optimization Server)(42) storing the optimized parameters and reporting the stored optimized parameters according to a transmission request of each MP(50).
