APPARATUS FOR REDUCING DISCHARGE NOISE OF SCROLL COMPRESSOR, ESPECIALLY REGARDING TO PREVENTING DISCHARGE NOISE OF REFRIGERANT FROM BEING EMITTED TO THE OUTSIDE THROUGH UPPER CAP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing a discharge noise of a scroll compressor is provided to prevent a discharge noise of a refrigerant from being emitted to the outside through an upper cap by directly discharging the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A casing seals upper and lower openings of a cylindrical casing body with an upper cap(12) and a lower cap to have a hermetic containing space inside. An orbiting scroll is fixed inside the casing body for orbiting. A fixed scroll(31) compresses a refrigerant cooperatively with the orbiting scroll and discharges the compressed refrigerant through a discharge hole(37). A muffler(50) forms a closed space to reduce a noise of the refrigerant discharged through the discharge hole to be combined with an upper part of the fixed scroll. A discharge pipe(17) is combined with one side of the upper cap to be communicatively combined with the muffler to discharge the refrigerant discharged to the muffler, directly to the outside of the casing.
