HYDROGEN ION CONDUCTIVE FLUORINATED ALKYL SULFONATE POLYSTYRENE DERIVATIVE POLYMER, HYDROGEN ION CONDUCTIVE ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE CONTAINING THE POLYMER, AND FUEL CELL CONTAINING THE ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE
PURPOSE: Provided are a hydrogen ion conductive fluorinated alkyl sulfonate polystyrene derivative polymer which is remarkably improved in ion conductivity compared with a sulfonated polystyrene derivative, a hydrogen ion conductive electrolyte membrane containing the polymer and a fuel cell containing the electrolyte membrane. CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen ion conductive polymer comprises a repeating unit represented by the formula 1, wherein Rf is a C1-C10 linear or branched fluorinated alkylene group; and X is H or an alkali metal. Preferably the hydrogen ion conductive polymer comprises further a repeating unit represented by the formula 2, wherein R is an aromatic group comprising a benzene group. The total number of the repeating unit of the formula 1 and the repeating unit of the formula 2 is 1,000-10,000, and the number of the repeating unit of the formula 1 is 10-99 % of the total number.
