REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND A FABRICATION METHOD THEREOF, PARTICULARLY REGARDING TO REALIZING A COLOR DISPLAY EFFECT BY FORMING LIGHT CURABLE RESIN LAYERS INSIDE LIQUID CRYSTAL CELLS
PURPOSE: A reflective LCD device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to realize a color image near to a natural color without a color filter, and to form light curable resin layers by using a holography technology, thereby very easily fabricating an LCD device. CONSTITUTION: Substrates(31) form cells inside. An ITO electrode(32) is formed on an inner surface of the substrate(31). Mixtures(33) of cholesteric liquid crystals and nematic liquid crystals are formed inside the cells of the opposite substrates(31). Light curable resins are mixed with the mixtures(33). Light curable resin layers(34) are formed by selectively hardening the light curable resins. The light curable resin layers(34) are formed at different intervals in pixel positions, respectively.
