PURPOSE: An improver is provided to improve ductility of austenite group stainless steel welding unit that is weak and in an as-welded state, without a post heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: A beam transfer unit(12) is connected to one side of a 5kW CO2 laser oscillator(10) that is a heat source of a high energy. A processing head(14) is installed in the end of the beam transferring unit and a welding unit(16) is formed in the lower part of the processing head and also an X-Y table(18) is placed in the lower part of the welding unit. A maximum output of a laser is 5kW and CO2 laser that is a transverse flow type-multi mode, is used as a beam source. Therefore, the improver increases ductility at the time of welding.
