PURPOSE: A method for selecting a recording position of a servo clock signal is provided to select a predetermined position of a disk inner area after an IGB(Inner Guard Band) as a servo clock track position, and to record a servo clock signal at the selected position, thereby magnifying a data storage capacity while improving a process nonstop rate. CONSTITUTION: A recording position(108) of a servo clock signal is located at an inner area than an IGB area(105). The servo clock signal is recorded on at least one of tracks existing between an inner boundary of the IGB area(105) and an outer boundary of a parking zone(PZ). A portion of the parking zone(PZ) can be used for a recording position of a new servo clock signal.
