PURPOSE: A computer system, and a method for controlling CPU power based on current and response time determined in a CPU are provided to receive the stable CPU power by supplying the power fit to a CPU processing speed/load based on an instruction to be processes in the CPU on time. CONSTITUTION: The CPU(21) determines the power supplied to the CPU based on the instruction executed in an instruction executing module(23), and calculates the current and the response time to generate the determined power. A VRM(Voltage Regulating Module)(27) regulates the power supplied to the CPU based on the current and the response time determined in the CPU. The CPU includes an instruction queue(22) sequentially storing the instruction to be executed in the instruction executing module.
