PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing confectionery containing grain-bud is provided, which method allows for prevention of the confectionery browning or nutrition damage of the grain-bud by coating the grain-bud with vegetable oil. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing confectionery containing grain-bud comprises the steps of: adding 10 to 20 wt.% of vegetable oil into the grain-bud and mixing them at 60 deg. C to coat the grain-bud with the vegetable oil; adding the vegetable oil coated grain-bud into a mixture of wheat flour, sugar, glucose, margarine, egg and skim milk and kneading the mixture to produce a dough; shaping the dough into a certain shape and baking the dough in an oven at 60 to 115 deg. C; and cooling and drying the baked confectionery.
