METHOD FOR RECOVERING ALKYL IODIDE BY SEPARATING ALKYL IODIDE FROM ALKYL IODIDE ADSORBED ACTIVATED CARBON BY ALKALI TREATMENT OR STEAM, AND DEVICE OPTIMALLY USED IN THE METHOD TO RECOVER ALKYL IODIDE
PURPOSE: To provide a method for reusing the recovered alkyl iodide at an excellent recovery ratio by separating alkyl iodide from the activated carbon after introducing alkyl iodide contained gas into activated carbon, and an alkyl iodide recovering device in which adsorption of alkyl iodide into the device and recovery of alkyl iodide are simple and safely performed. CONSTITUTION: The method for recovering alkyl iodide comprises a process of introducing alkyl iodide contained gas into activated carbon; and a process of adsorbing the alkyl iodide contained in the gas onto activated carbon, wherein the activated carbon is cleaned by an alkali solution in the adsorption process, and wherein the method further comprises a process of separating alkyl iodide from the activated carbon by introducing steam into the activated carbon after the adsorption process. The device for recovering alkyl iodide comprises a container body(1) comprising an inlet(2) of alkyl iodide contained gas(10) and an exhaust gas outlet(6); and an activated carbon layer(5) disposed between the alkyl iodide contained gas inlet and the exhaust gas outlet by traversing the container body, wherein a plurality of the devices are connected to each other in a row or in series.
