PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of automatically controlling quantity of pulverized coal supplied according to fluctuations of blast furnace gas utilization ratio to sufficiently secure furnace heat and efficiently compensate heat quantity according to change of the gas utilization ratio. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for controlling an injection quantity of pulverized coal supplied into a blast furnace according to a certain preset injection quantity value, the apparatus comprises a gas utilization ratio setting part(310) for presetting a proper gas utilization ratio to maintain a thermal balance in the blast furnace; a gas utilization ratio deviation operation part(320) for obtaining a gas utilization ratio deviation by operating a deviation between a gas utilization ratio set by the gas utilization ratio setting part and actual gas utilization ratio values in the blast furnace; and a set injection quantity compensation part(330) for compensating the preset injection quantity value according to the gas utilization ratio deviation if the gas utilization ratio deviation is greater than a preset upper limit value or less than a lower limit value.
