摘要

PURPOSE: A trip system control device and a method in a vehicle are provided to execute detection just for substantial amount of fuel by filtering a signal produced by a gradient change in a fuel tank although feed of oil is not executed. CONSTITUTION: A trip system control device in a vehicle comprises a fuel door switch(10) detecting the opening and shutting state of a fuel door; a vehicle speed detection part(20) detecting the current run speed of the vehicle; a fuel amount detection part(30) detecting a change of fuel amount in a fuel tank; a control part(40); and a display part(50) displaying distance information capable of running with the current fuel amount according to a signal of the control part. The control part converts into a fuel injection mode if the opening of the fuel door is detected and releases the fuel injection mode if the closing of the fuel door is detected. The control part calculates and displays the distance capable of running by applying a fuel consumption ratio to the monitored fuel amount when the change of fuel amount is over a predetermined amount value after release of the fuel injection mode.
