PURPOSE: A chemical decontamination apparatus for equipments contaminated by radioactive substances is provided to protect a user, who replaces consumables in an atomic reactor by performing decontamination operation. CONSTITUTION: A chemical decontamination apparatus for equipments contaminated by radioactive substances includes a waste-liquid tub(1), the first resin tower(2), the second resin tower(3), the third resin tower(4), and the fourth resin tower(5). The waste-liquid tub stores a waste-liquid. The first resin tower includes a cathode ion exchange resin condensed therein to remove a high-radioactive substance. The second resin tower includes a hybrid ion exchange resin condensed therein to remove an ion reactive with a cathode ion. The third resin tower includes a cathode ion exchange resin condensed therein to remove an ion which is not radio-active. The fourth resin tower includes another hybrid ion exchange resin condensed therein to remove chemicals from liquid from the third resin tower.
