PURPOSE: A signal transceiving system and a method in a mobile communication system using an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) adaptive antenna array method are provided to differently assign weight by a sigmoid function for a mixed-type weight generation method, thereby quickly and exactly creating a weight having a minimum MSE value. CONSTITUTION: A base station(500) despreads a receiving signal(511), and calculates a receiving weight and a transmission weight by using the despread receiving signal(513). The base station(500) generates feedback information by including the calculated transmission weight, and transmits the generated feedback information to a mobile station(550)(515). The mobile station(550) receives the feedback information(551), and detects the transmission weight from the feedback information(553). The mobile station(550) generates a transmission beam with the detected transmission weight(555).
