PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of mineral addition material containing quartz porphyry, jade and germanium and giving functionality to food paper is provided. A manufacturing method of the food paper is characterized by adding the mineral addition material to raw material of the paper. The food paper having excellent deodorization is capable of radiating far infrared ray, maintaining freshness of food, having thermo-keeping functionality and broiling fish or meat well. The food paper is useful of wrapping paper of all kinds of foods, a cup and a paper dish. CONSTITUTION: Mineral addition material is obtained by the steps of: mixing 40-60wt.% of quartz porphyry having 300-350mesh, 20-30wt.% of jade and 20-30wt.% of germanium; keeping a mixed powder in a vessel; spraying water containing mineral ingredient on the mixed powder to wet the mixed powder uniformly and moistly; sealing the vessel and maintaining 20-40deg.C of temperature; ripening the vessel for 1month; putting the ripened powder into a furnace, followed by igniting the furnace to increase temperature of the furnace to 750-1200deg.C and to bake the powder at the temperature for 8-12hours; and then cooling the baked powder naturally in the furnace. Food paper using the mineral addition material is obtained by the steps of: preparing 70-80wt.% of pulp and 19-25wt.% of steatite; adding 1-5wt.% of the mineral addition material to the pulp and the steatite to prepare mixed raw material; and then making paper out of the raw material.
