PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel and a plasma display device are provided to prevent the loss of the wall charges formed on the scan electrodes generated during the address period. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a plasma display panel includes the steps of applying the first and the second voltages to the second electrode and the third electrodes to the first and the second voltage; and applying the third voltage lower than the second voltage to the first electrode in the stabilization period. In the method, one field is provided with a plurality of sub-fields, each of the sub-fields includes a reset period, an address period, a sustain period and the stabilization period positioned between the address period and the sustain period.
