LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, APPARATUS FOR DRIVING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR TESTING THE SAME FOR EASILY TESTING SOURCE PCB

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), an apparatus for driving the LCD and a method for testing the LCD are provided to output a normal common voltage without connecting a gate PCB(Printed Circuit Board) when a source PCB function is tested, to thereby easily test the source PCB function. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes an LCD panel having a plurality of pixel electrodes, source and gate drivers for driving the LCD panel, and a common voltage generator for applying a common voltage to a common electrode opposite to the pixel electrodes. The common voltage generator includes a plurality of resistors(R1,R2,R3,R4,F5) serially connected between the first voltage and ground, and a buffer(10) for receiving a voltage obtained by dividing the first voltage by the resistors. The common voltage generator further includes the first resistor connected in parallel with a part of the plurality of resistors and formed on a gate PCB, the second resistor connected in parallel with the first resistor and formed on a source PCB, and a switch(20) for selecting connection of the first and second resistors.
