PURPOSE: An installation method for a gabion is provided to prevent the loss or damage of an embankment by storm and flood damage. CONSTITUTION: The mold is manufactured by cutting off a straight bar, assembling, welding and binding. The cover is manufactured by connecting and assembling many hot wires in the mold and winding up. The installation method for a gabion comprises the steps of spreading a body net(7-1) on the leveled ground of a bank, erecting two covers(7-2) on the front and rear, winding up by turning the body net(7-1) to form in the netted shape of a cover(7-2), and placing a mold(7-3) at 1¯2 meter intervals of the body net(7-1), then binding up with the body net(7-1).
