PURPOSE: A water level alarming device of a reservoir tank is provided to warn the shortage of coolant to a driver for compensating coolant, and to prevent wrong operation from overheating of the engine by turning on and off a switch unit with an indicator according to the water level of coolant in the reservoir tank. CONSTITUTION: A water level alarming device of a reservoir tank comprises a cylindrical body storing coolant, a neck part(22) covered with a cap, an indicator body(30) moving up and down along the bore of the neck part, having a supporting body connecting an upper edge to a lower edge and opening the side, a filter net(40) filtrating foreign matters from coolant contained in the indicator body, a float(50) combined with the lower part of the indicator body to float the indicator body on the water, a switch unit(60) placed in the lower part of the neck part and turned on or off according to contact to the indicator body in lifting up and down the indicator body, and a warning lamp(66) turned on and off corresponding to the operation of the switch unit.
