PURPOSE: A lyocell dip cord for a tire and a tire manufactured using the same are provided to have excellent strength and modulus using a homogeneous cellulose solution. CONSTITUTION: The dip cord for a tire is manufactured by the steps of: (A)preparing solid NMMO from liquid NMMO for 1-60 seconds using a side feeder(1) to be supplied to a twin screw extruder(3), and simultaneously extruding cellulose powder using a side feeder(2) to be supplied to the twin screw extruder(3); (B)preparing a swelled and homogenized cellulose solution from the supplied solid NMMO and cellulose powder through the twin screw extruder(3) to give dispersing, mixing, shearing, kneading, dissolving, and measuring performances; (C)extrusion-spinning the cellulose solution through a spinning nozzle, passing it through air gap to be solidified in a coagulating bath, and obtaining a filament; (D)washing, drying, and oil-treating the obtained filament to be wound; and (E)twisting the wound yarn through a twister to produce raw cord, and then weaving it to be dipped into a dipping solution. The dip cord is characterized by: 1) 14.0-35.0kg of breaking loading; 2) 2,000-6,000 denier of fineness; 3) more than 80% of fatigue resistance; 4) 10.0-15.0kg of adhesive force to rubber; 5) 0.30-0.95 of twist constant; and 6) sum of elongation at 4.5kg and dry heat shrinkage(E-S): 1.0-4.0.
