PURPOSE: A solar cell with a buried-type electrode is provided to obtain process simplification and cost reduction by reducing number of high temperature process and a fabrication method thereof. CONSTITUTION: A metal electrode is formed within a groove(G) formed on a substrate(1). The metal electrode is formed by a heat treatment after burying conductive particles or a precursor thereof into the groove. The conductive particles or a precursor thereof have a diameter less than 1m. The conductive particles or a precursor thereof have a diameter less than 1nm. The conductive particles comprise any one of Ag, Cu, Au, Ti, W, Ni, Cr, Mo, Pb, Pd and Pt.
