PURPOSE: A cover joining structure for an arm rest of a vehicle is provided to prevent the quality reduction of a cover generated in using the arm rest for a long time and to improve reliability of products by increasing sewing power between side and upper covers. CONSTITUTION: A cover joining structure for an arm rest(2) of a vehicle is composed of side and upper covers(11,12) coated on the surface of the arm rest mounted on the upper part of a console box(1) and opened or closed to receive articles in the console box or support passengers' arms. Both ends of the upper cover are bent inward, overlapped doubly, and then contacted to upsides of each end of the side cover. The end of the side cover is bent inward, overlapped doubly, and then backstitched to the upper cover.
