PURPOSE: A method for preparing a poly(vinylcarbazole) particle is provided to easily produce a hollow structure by utilizing an organic solvent after obtaining a core-shell polymer and to produce a photoconductive hollow particle by utilizing vinylcarbazole. CONSTITUTION: The poly(vinylcarbazole) particle having a hollow structure and represented by the formula 1, is prepared by the method comprising the steps of: introducing distilled water and an emulsifier into a reactor to prepare an emulsifier solution; adding an alkylacrylate and an initiator to the emulsifier solution to prepare a core polymer; adding vinylcarbazole and a cross-linking agent to the obtained core polymer to prepare a core-shell polymer; and treating the core-shell polymer with an alcohol and an organic solvent to remove the core polymer and to swell a shell polymer.
