METHOD FOR SAWDUST SPAWN OF LENTINULA EDODES BY MIXING SAWDUST SPAWN OR LIQUID SPAWN

A method of producing sawdust spawn of Lentinus edodes by crushing sterilized sawdust medium, mixing with liquid spawn of Lentinus edodes or powdered spawn of Lentinus edodes and culturing in a spawn bottle and the like is provided. It shortens the production period of sawdust spawn of Lentinus edodes by about 1/3 as compared to conventional methods using spawn of Lentinus edodes. Sterilized sawdust medium is ground in the shape of particles with a rotary breaker, evenly mixed with a predetermined amount of liquid spawn of Lentinus edodes or powdered spawn of Lentinus edodes, introduced into a spawn bottle or a heat resistant polyvinyl bag or plastic container and cultured for a predetermined time in a constant temperature room.
