The present invention relates to an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell, specifically 2 nm to 3 nm in a porous carbon structure in which spherical pores having a uniform diameter in the range of 5 nm to 1 μm are regularly arranged in three dimensions. Disclosed are an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell carrying an active metal of and a method for producing the same.;The electrocatalyst for a fuel cell according to the present invention can be prepared using a small amount of active metal, can disperse the metal into fine sizes of 2 to 3 nm, and the movement and diffusion of reactants and products between regularly arranged pores It is smooth and has higher catalytic activity than Pt-Ru or Pt catalyst prepared using a conventional carbon black as a support, thereby improving the performance of the fuel cell, and can be prepared by a simple method in aqueous solution.
