The method for producing the mushroom extract product comprises the step of grinding mushroom carpophore until the resulting bulk density comes to a predetermined level or higher, the step of extracting a carpophore extract from the resultant ground product, and the step of forming the objective mushroom extract product by powdering the extract and using the resultant powder. Wherein, in the grinding step, it is preferable that the carpophore is ground until the bulk density of the carpophore ground product comes to 0.2 g/cm3.
