PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing green tea juice to prepare steamed green tea-rice. Therefore, steamed green tea-rice has antioxidation, antimutation and anticancer effects, lowers blood cholesterol level, inhibits the increase of blood pressure and blood platelet aggregation, has antifungal and antiviral effects, prevents tooth decay, and antiulcer and antiallergy effects. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing green tea juice comprises the steps of: collecting 1kg of green tea leaves, washing and dewatering them; parboiling the green tea leaves in 2L of water for 5 minutes, quickly cooling them in cold water and dewatering them; juicing the green tea leaves to give 30-35 wt.% of juice; mixing 780-840cc of the juice with refined rice wine in a weight ratio of 1:1; adding 40g of salt and 50g of sugar to the mixture and stirring them; and boiling the mixture for 1-2 minutes.
