PURPOSE: A direct automatic control system based on a computer in a foul/waste water processing place through the Internet and a controlling method thereof are provided to collect and transmit data directly through a computer without a PLC by inserting a data collection and transmission card in the computer, collecting or transmitting signals of a measuring instrument, and a sensing device directly. CONSTITUTION: A measuring instrument transmits the current value as an analogue signal(direct current 4-20mA). A sensing device transmits the current state as a digital signal(Dry Contact). A multiple analogue signal insulation conversion input board performs a signal insulation conversion for converting the analogue signal into a status(multiple insulated direct current 1-5V) capable of being recognized in a data collection and transmission card. A multiple digital signal insulation conversion input board performs a signal insulation conversion for converting the digital signal into a status(multiple insulated direct current 1-5 TTL) capable of being recognized in the data collection and transmission card. The data collection and transmission card converts the analogue signal and the digital signal into a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) signal. A CPU of a computer calculates data collected through the PCI signal system, stores the data in an HDD, and transmits the data through TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol). A remote computer displays data being transmitted through the TCP/IP using the Internet in real time and stores the data in a database. A host computer receives a control command in the remote computer through the TCP/IP.
