PURPOSE: A roasting method and a device for automatically regulating temperature of a roasting plate are provided to heat the roasting plate at proper temperature by detecting temperature of the roasting plate and fire with a temperature sensor and to control exactly the temperature of the roasting plate by low temperature deviation caused by temperature and humidity. CONSTITUTION: In a method for automatically regulating temperature of a roasting plate(160) put on a roasting device body(100) to receive the fire power of charcoals, at least one temperature sensing hole(162) or a temperature sensing groove is bored through the roasting plate. A temperature sensor(170) positioned at the temperature sensing hole or the temperature sensing groove is supported to the roasting device body. The air delivered from a blower(130) for feeding oxygen successively passes through air inlet ports(144d), which are arranged across each other. If temperature detected by the temperature sensor is below set temperature, the blower is driven to supply oxygen. If over the set temperature, the supply amount of oxygen is reduced by stopping the blower.
