WEDGE TYPE SAFETY APPARATUS FOR REPLACING A BRIDGE SEAT OF A BRIDGE AND PREVENTING OVERTURN BY LIFTING UP ACCURATELY WITH A DIGITAL HEIGHT GAUGE

PURPOSE: A wedge type safety apparatus for replacing a bridge seat of a bridge and preventing overturn is provided to repair and reinforce the bridge easily by adjusting the height of the bridge, and to prevent the bridge from being turned over by integrally forming a bridge slab with a pier. CONSTITUTION: A wedge type safety apparatus is composed of a bottom plate(10) having slide grooves at both sides, a wedge member(20) faced and placed in the slide grooves of the bottom plate and composed of an inclined surface formed in an upper part, a slab(30) placed in the upper part of the wedge member and composed of an inclined groove thereon, and a transfer member(40) moving the wedge member back and forth along the slide groves and the inclined groove to lift up the slab. The transfer member is composed of a thread combined with a screw hole formed in the wedge member, and rotated or reversed to move the wedge member.
