A composition comprising the extract of herb medicines for enhancing immunity and a medical wine using the composition

PURPOSE: An immunopotentiation composition containing an extract of herbs such as Radix Glycyrrhizae, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, Dioscoreae Rhizoma, Cinnamomi Cortex, Rubi Fructus, Liriopis Tuber, Astragali Radix and Corni Fructus is provided. It increases the production of interferon-gamma, interleukin-2 and interleukin-4 and thus has immunopotentiation effect. CONSTITUTION: An immunostimulating composition contains 1 to 5 parts by weight of Radix Glycyrrhizae, 4 to 20 parts by weight of Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, 4 to 20 parts by weight of Dioscoreae Rhizoma, 4 to 20 parts by weight of Cinnamomi Cortex, 2 to 10 parts by weight of Rubi Fructus, 4 to 20 parts by weight of Liriopis Tuber, 4 to 20 parts by weight of Astragali Radix and 2 to 1 0 parts by weight of Corni Fructus. Herbal wine is prepared by extracting the composition in water for 2 to 3hr at 90 to 110deg.C, mixing the extract with 3 to 100% by weight of a mixture of rice, malted rice and yeast in a weight ratio of 10 to 40:2 to 10:0 to 1 and then fermenting.
