THE APPARATUS FOR REMELTING THERMAL SPRAYED SELF-FUSING COATINGS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for remelting thermal sprayed self-fusing coatings is provided in which a certain distance is maintained between sealing material and sealing material heating device, and an infrared thermometer for sensing temperature is installed to obtain a thermal spray coated article having even surface and high reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a jig(7) adhered to both ends of the sealing material to fix the sealing material; a high frequency coil(1) fixed in such a way that the high frequency coil surrounds the sealing material to heat the sealing material; a moving rail(4) connected to the high frequency coil to move the high frequency coil along the sealing material; and a control panel(5) for controlling thermal output of the high frequency coil, wherein the high frequency coil is installed in a circular shape on the circumference of the sealing material with being spaced apart from each other in a gap of 2 to 20 mm, wherein the apparatus further comprises an infrared thermometer(3) installed on the rear side of a high frequency coil proceeding direction to sense the surface temperature of the coated self-fusing alloy and automatically control output of high frequency according to the sensed temperature.
