PURPOSE: A method for cultivating nonpoisonous river puffer and a method for producing a health auxiliary food product using the same are provided to cultivate river puffer in a fresh water after removing poison harmful to a human body and produce a health auxiliary food product by adding various medicinal materials and natural foods to the river puffer. CONSTITUTION: The method for cultivating nonpoisonous river puffer includes the steps of: preparing a fresh water containing algae as a cultivation water for the cultivation of river puffer and putting and growing the fingerling of river puffer therein; and periodically dipping a saline water of a predetermined concentration into the cultivation water so that the fingerling may grow.
