PURPOSE: A toner cartridge including a memory is provided to include a memory for storing an identification value with which whether to correspond to a specific image forming device is decided, without comprising a unique-key, thereby precisely measuring a remaining amount of a toner. CONSTITUTION: A toner cartridge(170) includes a memory(190). The memory(190) stores information on an ID, a remaining amount of a toner, and a motor operational time. An image forming device(130) stores an ID value of the toner cartridge(170) in a controller(150). When the toner cartridge(170) is installed, the controller(150) reads the ID value from the memory(190), and compares the read ID value with ID values of usable toner cartridges stored in the controller(150). If the read ID value is included in the ID values of the usable toner cartridges, the controller(150) decides that the installed toner cartridge(170) is appropriate.
