Pilot Broadcasting Channel Processor of Satellite Digital Broadcasting transmission and a method signal processing thereof

An apparatus for processing a pilot broadcasting channel of a satellite digital broadcasting transmitter and a method for processing signal thereof are provided to transmit accurate order information of superframes by transmitting superframe counting data in frames transmitted through a pilot broadcasting channel, thereby improving characteristics of satellite digital broadcasting. A frame generating unit(210) generates frames by time-dividing synchronous data for acquiring synchronization of frames, control data for controlling a broadcasting channel and superframe counting data which is order information of superframes. A code granting unit(250) grants a peculiar code of a receiver to the frames. A modulator(270) modulates the frames receiving the peculiar code in predetermined modulation method.
