PURPOSE: An apparatus for batch marking identification number on slab is provided to reduce production cost, build reliability of clients and contribute to safety of workers by marking identification numbers onto the slab at the same time, thereby reducing marking cycle time. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for marking identification numbers on a slab(5) produced in continuous casting process through a marking machine (M), the apparatus for batch marking identification number on slab comprises a spray unit part(20) which is installed inside the marking machine moved back and forth, in which a channel is formed so that high pressure gas and fuel pass through the channel, and in which a gas ignition means is connected to the lower part of a unit main body, wherein an aluminum powder storage tank is connected to the upper part of the unit main body; a letter plate drum set part which is installed between the spray unit part and slab to mark identification numbers on the slab(5) using aluminum powder(10) that is melting injected by the gas ignition means; a drum scanning unit part installed inside a drum of the letter plate drum set part to remove residual molten aluminum inside the drum; a descaler part(60) which is installed along a length direction of the unit main body from the lower part of the marking machine to remove scale on the side surface of the slab as the descaler part is being moved back and forth; and a scanning rod(70) for adjusting a gap between the marking machine and slab.
