PURPOSE: Methods for the measurement of radiation dose using drug-induced premature chromosome condensation assay are provided, thereby accurately and easily measuring and predicting radiation dose, so that these methods can be useful for establishment of radiation accident control policy, and radiation sensitivity test. CONSTITUTION: The method for the measurement of radiation dose comprises the steps of: adding okadaic acid into lymphocyte isolated from blood and culturing the lymphocyte to produce prematurely condensed chromosome; counting the number of rings indicating the damaged prematurely condensed chromosome; and measuring radiation dose from the counted ring number using the equation of Y=(1.113+-0.510)D + (0.372+-0.071)D2, wherein Y is the average number of rings indicating the damaged prematurely condensed chromosome per a lymphocyte; and D is radiation dose(Gy).
