METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE RISK IN DEVELOPING INTRAUTERINE INFECTION IN MOTHERS SUFFERING DIABETES MELLITUS

FIELD: medicine, obstetrics, endocrinology.;SUBSTANCE: one should calculate the value for the risk level (RL) of intrauterine infection by the formula: RL = 100 x [0.5975 - 0.042 x A + (B x X) + C], where RL - the value of risk level of intrauterine infection in %, A - ordinal number of preset pregnancy, B - chronic pathology in anamnesis that favors to activate endogenic infection, X - the number of factors detecting chronic infecting, C -the state of immune status of pregnant woman. B equals to 0.3968 in case of pathology, and at its absence - it equals 0. In case of affected immune state C equals : 0.428 in case of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, 0.376 - at non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, 0.314 - at gestation diabetes mellitus, 0.277 - in case of affected glucosotolerant test, 0.286 in case of thyroid gland pathology. At no disorders of immune state C = 0. For RL ≥ 100 risk level of infection is very high, for 75 ≤ RL ≤ 99.9 - high, for 50 ≤ RL ≤ 75 - average and for RL 50 - low level should be established. The suggested method provides the chance to predict the risk for the developing intrauterine infection at any terms of pregnancy.;EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.;3 ex
