The bag has a glued base seam, e.g. a hot-melt seam preferably formed by a transparent adhesive strip (29), which extends between the welded side seams (25,26) of the funnel bag and parallel to the bottom bag edges. End sections (31) of the adhesive strip serve to prevent tearing of the side seams of the filling end of the bag. There are even distances between the strips and either end edges (27,28).
