A glide-protection valve (GPV) (2) links to a check valve (CV) (1), for which an air pipe connects to separate pipework parallel to an air pipe for the GPV. The conducting direction of the CV runs from a brake cylinder (6) to a brake pilot control. The CV can be fitted in an intermediate flange between a valve support and the GPV and can be structurally integrated into the GPV.
