The appliance has track wheels (6) mounted on moveable rocker arms (3,4,5), which are pivoted into working position when required. Dependent upon mode of travel, two rocker arms are in use, and the arm not required is raised and locked in this position. When used on railways, rocker arms one (3) and three (5) are in contact with the rails, while when used on tramways, arms one and two (3,4) are in contact with rails, when used on the roads, all three rocker arms are in upper locked position. An indicator for mode of travel is located in the dashboard.
