Fluid system reservoir, e.g. for the coolant circuit of a motor vehicle, has a lid that is screwed onto the throat of the container. The lid has a blocking arrangement with a blocking element (12) that is moved by a predefined internal pressure within the coolant system to a blocking position, in which it prevents movement of the lid (6) into an open position.
