The device has a lever pin (3) which can be expelled and received in an outer final position relative to the housing (2) of the device so as to be resistant to torsion. The lever pin has a symmetrical cross-section with conical, concave or convex tip. The pin diameter is preferably from 1.5 to 13.7 mm for a device to be operated by one person or up to 22mm for a device to be operated by two people. Independent claim describes method for forcing open a door by driving the lever pin into the door panel between door and frame or through a door lock and then by turning the lever handle exerting a forceful torque on same.
