The thermoshock testing method has a simulated cylinder head (10) used for supplying the exhaust manifold (1) with heated pressurized air, provided at a constant pressure from a pressurized air source (2) and divided into a number of partial streams, corresponding to the number of exhaust manifold inputs, for heating via respective burners (5), with individual control of the mass flow of the pressurized air for each burner.
