Additive for mineral oil products comprises a comb polymer comprising a hydroxy- or glycidyl-functional ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer (I) esterified with a partially imidated and/or esterified maleic anhydride copolymer (II) or a comb polymer comprising an acid- and/or anhydride functional ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer (III) esterified with a polyol C12-C40 monocarboxylate partial ester (IV). Additive for use in mineral oil products in an amount of 0.005-1 wt.% comprises a comb polymer comprising a hydroxy- or glycidyl-functional ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer (I) having a molecular weight of 3000-50000 and an ethylene content of 50-90 wt.% esterified with a partially imidated and/or esterified maleic anhydride copolymer (II) or a comb polymer comprising an acid- and/or anhydride functional ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer (III) having a molecular weight of 3000-50000 and an ethylene content of 50-90 wt.% esterified with a polyol C12-C40 monocarboxylate partial ester (IV). The (I):(II) or (III):(IV) weight ratio is 10:90 to 90:10. Independent claims are also included for: (1) mineral oil product as above in which the mineral oil is crude oil or a middle distillate fuel oil with a sulfur content below 0.05 wt.%; (2) producing a mineral oil product by preparing a solution containing 1-60 wt.% of an additive as above in a middle distillate oil at 20-90[deg]C and homogenizing the solution with a mineral oil, where other additives are added to the solution or mineral oil in an amount of 0-200% by weight of the additive mixture.
